I just felt like me.
And then I remember being at school, and college, at university and in past jobs I'd had before my breakthrough. Brave was always there, but it had to be, because so was inner negative crap, so I effectively 'felt the fear and did it anyway' and had to 'be brave'. In hindsight, knowing what I know now, that was pretty stressful, to always be doubting and second guessing myself, to compare myself to another's journey, to feel like I ALWAYS had something to prove.
Now I know, brave isn't a feeling, it's a doing, and I reckon brave is the new beautiful. Brave is in all of us, and can be accessed without having to feel fear first. Essentially the law of attraction, when you believe it you will achieve it, so identify those barriers and breakthrough them!
